Diplomats In Training is prepared to motivate and inspire youth and young adults, to become leaders, among their peers, to provoke change from the inside, out.
The Mission of Diplomats In Training
Urban inner city youth are disproportionately, likely to grow-up in poverty, in neighborhoods that create high levels of emotional stressors and inadequate supportive resources. These factors usually cause an increased risk of high-school dropouts, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). There is a major need for intervention and Diplomats In Training is prepared to intervene, through training, mentoring, encouraging and empowering the next generation of youth and young adults.
